# Sem

> Sem (sem.earth) is a web app for talking across languages. Video call anyone on earth with live AI subtitles and an AI voice interpreter in both directions, and practice speaking with a live AI language tutor, on video or by voice. English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Free to try, no download.

## Call someone

- Invite someone with a private link (WhatsApp, text), call saved contacts, or meet someone new who speaks the language you practice.
- Live AI subtitles and an AI voice interpreter, both ways; each can be turned on or off before and during the call.
- Report button in every call; for people 18 and older. Calls are not recorded.

## AI language tutor

- A live AI tutor who talks with you at your level: Valentina teaches Spanish, Leah teaches English.
- Face to face on video (lessons up to 10 minutes each), or voice only, anywhere.
- You can interrupt her like a real conversation. She can remember your lessons with a short note (never recordings); you can turn it off or erase it.

## Plans (USD)

- Free: 30 minutes of calls every 30 days, plus 3 minutes of tutor video and 3 minutes of tutor voice to try. No card needed.
- Traveler: $10 a month or $100 a year. 2 hours of calls, 10 minutes of tutor video and 10 minutes of tutor voice every 30 days.
- Explorer: $30 a month or $300 a year. 6 hours of calls, 35 minutes of tutor video and 30 minutes of tutor voice every 30 days. Best value.
- Members can add minutes anytime ($10 = 10 tutor minutes or 2 hours of calls). Cancel anytime. A month can be given as a gift.
